FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

IS MICROBLADING PAINFUL?
Pain during the treatment is relative. Scared clients usually feel stronger pain, while the other clients compare such pain with the one that they feel when plucking out eyebrows. In addition, with women having period there is an increased sensitivity to pain, so it is not recommended to do the treatment while ladies are on their period.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?

All the eyebrow procedures take around 2 hours. This includes an initial consultation and after care advice.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO USE LIGHT AESTHETICS, IN FORM OF CREAM OR LIQUID TO COMPLETELY ELIMINATE PAIN DURING THE TREATMENT?
Of course, I do use an anaesthetic liquid after the first pass, so you will not feel any pain after it. For the first pass I do not use any anaesthetic, so that you will get the most effective results, due to your skin would absorb the cream then reject the pigment more likely. I do not perform the treatment using or haven used the numbing cream previous the treatment.

WHAT COLOUR OF PIGMENT WILL I HAVE?
Pigment is determined according to the natural colour of the eyebrows and hair. After healing, pigment can become several nuances brighter compared to natural hair colour.

HOW DO I KNOW MY EYEBROWS WILL BE SYMMETRICAL?
Symmetry is calculated by using PhiBrows App. It is calculated while the clients’ eyes are closed because in that way mimetic muscles that can affect eyebrows’ symmetry are relaxed. Pictures of the prepared shapes, as well as all other important information, are stored in the application, under the Treatment History section. Strokes are always drawn in the direction of natural hair growth in order to achieve hyper-realistic eyebrow look.

WHAT HAPPENS DURING THE TREATMENT?

Firstly the shape of the eyebrows is calculated according to the facial morphology and to the golden mean (phi 1,618) then finally determined digitally with PhiApp Symmetry, where a picture of your brows design will be saved.A pigment to chosen to match the natural hair of your eyebrows. This is then passed into the channels created by the micro blades on the surface layer of the dermis.Colour can be around 30-40% darker the first 5 to 7 days. Your new eyebrows will be fully healed after 4-6 weeks and this is when we perform a touch up adding more pigment where it has been lost, normally 10-15% of the strokes disappears. After this, the average expected time until new colour refreshment is needed is between 6 and 24 months. This time can depend on varying factors including skin type, age, lifestyle, skin routine, sun exposure and post treatment care.

WHEN SHOULD I HAVE A TOP UP?
Correction is done a month after the treatment as 10-15% of strokes are lost after the first treatment. An inserted pigment is very dark during first 5 to 7 days. 7 days later, it loses up to 40% of its intensity. If you think that pigment is too dark, do not try to fade it by yourself. Be patient, first wait for 7 days until pigment fades away naturally.

HOW LONG MICROBLADING WILL LAST ON ME?
For how long the pigment will be retained mostly depends on the skin oiliness. The oilier the skin is – the shorter pigment retention is. Sweating and sun exposure also affect pigment retention. On average, expected time until new refreshment of pigment is 10 to 24 months. If the skin is oily, it takes up to 6 months. Healing is completely done 28 days later and then it is necessary to add the pigment that was lost in the meanwhile. If the skin is problematic and oily, several such corrections can be made.

WILL I HAVE THE TREATMENT DONE WITH DISPOSABLE TOOLS?
Of course, the treatment is done by using sterile and disposable tools, while pigments are of the highest standard.

WILL I BE ABLE TO GO TO WORK STRAIGHT AFTERWARDS?

Absolutely. Typically, the area around your treatment may be very slightly red, but that should be the only after-effect.

DO YOU PROVIDE AFTERCARE?

Yes. complimentary aftercare products are included with your treatment.
